I still feel bad when I complain about nor reading enough, but this month it was really hard somehow. I spend like half of the month on a book that has a little more than 200 pages and read the least I read all year. This is mostly due to how busy I was, but it still feels like I failed.

Most of the things I read were solid though. I feel like I got so many 5 star reads in the beginning of last year and now barely anything can really reach me. My favourite novel this month was Mister Impossible, cause it managed to really pull me in and have me read it in basically one day. I also really enjoyed the first volumes of Voice Rush!! and Don’t be shy.

My least favourite book was sadly Fence: Disarmed, which really again just felt like a half-assed fanfic (and I read fanfics that are real masterpieces) and also Spy x Family 5, cause nothing really happened in there.

TBR for August

Flash Fire

Darkdawn

A Lesson in Vengeance

The Midnight Lie

Die Töchter von Illian

Skyward

Guess who still can’t catch up on her TBR. Trying my best.
