So overall this was not the best reading month for my standards, but still pretty good. I do feel like I’m in a bit of a slump, it’s kinda hard to get myself motivated these days, but I guess that’s just that global situation we’re all in and it can’t be helped too much. I do almost always feel like reading manga so that’s something at least.

My favourite novel was definitely The Midnight Library. The story just really captivated me and I’m thinking about it to this day to be honest. It’s also just worlds away from most of the other novels I read so there’s that. I also really loved the german novel Wenn das noch geht, kann es nicht so schlimm sein, which is an autobiographic story about depression and that really touched me.

When it comes to the worst reads, this is a bit harder to choose, cause I didn’t read anything really bad, just many things that I couldn’t get into completely. Overall the most disappointing was The Project, because I had really high hopes for it and in the end I was so close to giving it two stars, which sucks.

TBR for April

Descendant of the Crane

Rule of Wolves

Vulture

Blessed Monsters

Forest of Souls

Real Life

Here we have the most important books I wanna get to next month. There are quite some exciting books in here and I mostly just hope I can get my motivation back.
